GCAS funds internships and provides careers support to bridge the gap between eligible graduates and employers in Scotland.
We are currently recruiting for two roles:

2022 graduate?
You are eligible if you are:
– Unemployed or employed in a non-graduate level* role that does not fit into your future career plan
– A recent graduate (Summer โ Winter 2022 i.e., your degree ceremony was between May โ December^) from:
– Dip HE, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or PhD levels of study
– Aged 29 or under
– Based in Scotland
– Have the right to work in the UK** for the duration of the internships you apply to
AND:
Have faced one or more of the following barriers:
– You have a disability
– You are from an ethnic minority background
– You were a Widening Participation student at your university (check your university Widening Participation webpages if you are unsure). This often includes:
– Belonging to a vulnerable or marginalised group including young carers, care leavers, estranged from family, refugee / asylum seekers
– Coming from a disadvantaged background, based on the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) or similar
– Your university may include students from an area of rurality or rural deprivation
If you graduated between summer 2020 and spring 2022, you are eligible if you are:
– Unemployed or employed in a non-graduate level* role that does not fit into your future career plan
– A recent graduate (Summer 2020 โ Spring 2022) from: Dip HE, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or PhD levels of study
– Aged 29 or under
– Based in Scotland
– Have the right to work in the UK** for the duration of the internships you apply to
* Please note we are not resourced to support with onward progression. If you already have substantial graduate-level experience you are not eligible for GCAS.
** Resident or currently in the country, for example, via the Graduate Visa Route. Although some may be able to do so, there is no expectation on GCAS employers to sponsor visas.
